Sending Money from Singapore to Philippines

You have two options: doing it online or going to Lucky Plaza.

There are alot of remittance centers in Lucky Plaza. I have already tried iRemit and BTI Money Transfer. Since, there's always a long queue at iRemit, I prefer BTI. BTI Money Transfer has 3 branches in Lucky Plaza.

If you want to do it online, you can try DBS Money Send. It has higher exchange rate than in LP. By how much? Today, the exchange rate in LP is 33.25. In DBS Money Send, it's 33.60. You do the math. What's the catch? At present, you may send a maximum of S$1000 per day and up to a maximum of S$3000 per month. Service charge is S$1 only.
